Approved by the Executive Committee of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, December 6, 2012.  Signed by 67th Grand Consul Dennis Santoli CASE WESTERN 1967, and Sigma Chi Headquarters Executive Director and Past Zeta Omicron Chapter Advisor Michael Dunn UTAH STATE 1976.  The charter culminated a fifty year effort to establish an alumni chapter in Flagstaff, started by brother Dr. George H. Yard, M.D. ARIZONA 1953 in early 1963 as alumni advisor to Zeta Omicron Chapter's colony, Sigma Chi Omega at Northern Arizona University (then called Arizona State College - Flagstaff).  A whole host of successive alumni carried those efforts forward via the Zeta Omicron Housing Corporation and as the Zeta Omicron Alumni Association.
